Here is a short clip from the fabulous documentary The Ark and the Darkness. Across the world many languages are spoken, but where does the root of each language come from? God says in the Bible that He changed our single language at the Tower of Babel rebellion into many languages, and then He scattered the people across the world. His Word provides a list in Genesis chapter 10 known as The Table of Nations for us to see His handiwork. There are 70 nations and we know today where they are located across the world. It’s curious that when traced back many of these indigenous peoples have Flood and Tower of Babel stories in their history. The British Museum has a photograph of the site of the Tower of Babel in the Mesopotamia Gallery, and archaeologist Joel Kramer recently published an Expedition Bible YouTube video, showing him describe the location and the events that took place.
The Bible records world history, past, present and future. God warns us not to do certain things because there will always be consequences for our actions that will cause us trouble! He created us, and as a loving Father He wants the best for us. World history records our rebellious nature, a consequence of our ancestor Adam’s disobedience! Only through trusting in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His resurrection can our relationship with our Heavenly Father be restored. We can be born again and personally know His Love, Grace, Mercy and Forgiveness for ourselves. Choose Life today!
