In Conversation with Maggie Bell- Scottish Blues Weekend

Описание к видео In Conversation with Maggie Bell- Scottish Blues Weekend

Maggie Bell is the leading living Scottish musician who made their name in the heat of the rock revolution of the 1960s and is still performing at the highest level internationally. Luther Vandross sang backing vocals for her; she had Albert Collins guesting with her at Montreux, and she shared the stage with Joe Cocker, AC/DC and Miles Davis. Of course, she knew everyone on the Scottish scene from Alex Harvey to Lulu; Frankie Miller to Brian Robertson, and, she fronted the most popular Scottish band of the late 60’s, Stone The Crows. We salute her, and her contribution to Scottish blues, and ask her to talk to us about her life in music. With guitarist Sandy Tweeddale on hand, she may even sing some acoustic tunes too.
