INSTRUCTIONS:

- Place the motorcycle on a center stand.
- Use the key to remove the seat.
- Beneath the seat, you'll find a plastic cover located near the rear fender. Using a 12mm wrench, loosen the two nuts and remove the cover.
- Loosen the 17mm nut that secures the shock absorber and the passenger handle. Do not attempt to remove the shock absorber itself.
- Using a 13mm open-end wrench, unscrew the nut holding the handle. It will remain attached due to the shock absorber anchor point.
- With a 15mm wrench, remove the shock absorber bolt from the swingarm. You may need to press down on the rear fender to release the bolt.
- Remove both the shock absorber and the passenger handle.
- Place the spacer between the frame and the shock absorber while repositioning the shock absorber to secure everything in place.
- Using an Allen key, a 12mm socket wrench, and the provided screw, attach the rear point of the spacer.
- Screw the shock absorber bolt back into the swingarm.
- Reattach the upper anchor point to the frame.
- The spacer is now properly installed.
- Reinstall the plastic cover beneath the seat, and tighten the two nuts securely.
- Finally, put the seat back in place.
