Many attacks on Sikh gurdwaras had been happening in 1900’s. But not as serious as the attacks in 1984. In 1984, Shri Harmandir Sahib and Akal Takht Sahib were attacked on, this was named Operation Blue Star by the Indian Government. I’m just going to pause here to say that we still don’t know who was responsible for this and as said in the disclaimer we do not intend to hurt anyone’s feelings but this is true history.
