Hello, I am TheBroncoLP and this is the Dragon Quest 8 Walkthrough series on the iPad. This game was originally released by Square Enix in 2004 for the PS2. For those who are new to Dragon Quest 8, the iPad version is not as good as the original PS2 version but is still worth the $20 in the App Store if you are looking for a classic JRPG to play. I should be getting a microphone soon so I can explain how to obtain rare items, where to go, and basically how to play the game.

For those who have never played this game on either the iPad or the PS2...
Dragon Quest 8: Journey of the Cursed King begins with a scepter sealed away in Trodain Castle (Home of the Hero, King Trode, and Princess Medea) which holds magical powers. The antagonist, Dhoulmagus, is a magician who sought after this scepter to become the greatest magician who ever lived. However, he couldn't contain the power held within the scepter and ended up losing control of himself. The scepter then ensnares Trodain in thorns, cursing Trode and the Princess into a monster and a horse. The rest of the castle turns lifeless except for one soldier who manages to escape out alive (You). Delve into the story of DQ8 with me to find out the backstory of the Hero and his trusty sidekick Yangus!
