In this video I completely walk you step by step through the process of crocheting a pinecone! One of the most amazing things I have ever made! You will make a pinecone by the end of this video!

Things you will need!
Yarn Needle

4mm size hook

Pattern for the thicker pinecone.
It is just like the thinner pinecone just more stitches in the pattern.

Start off making a Magic Circle/Ring - You can refer to my video on the magic circle!
Row 1 - Make 6 single crochets in the Magic Circle. You will have 6 stitches now!
Mark the last stitch with a stitch marker.
Row 2 - 2 Single Crochet in each of the 6 single crochet. You will have 12 stitches now.
Mark the last stitch with a stitch marker.
Row 3 - Do 2 single crochets in the together then single crochet in the next stitch. Do this 5 times. Then single crochet in the next 2 stitches
.Mark the last stitch with a stitch marker.

Ok this is where you start working in the back loops only

Row 4 - 7 sigle crochet. you should have 17 stitches total in your round.
Now this is the pert where you turn your work inside out.

Make sure you move your marker when you finish each row!

Row 8 - Single crochet 2 together single crochet in the next 2 stitches.
Mark the last stitch with a stitch marker.
Row 9 - Single crochet in each stitch around.
Mark the last stitch with a stitch marker.
Row 10 - Single crochet 2 together Single crochet in the next stitch. Do this four times. Single crochet in the next stitch.
Mark the last stitch with a stitch marker.
Row 11 - Single crochet 2 together then single crochet in the next 2 stitches twice. Single crochet in next stitch. You should have 7 stitches total now.
You can now remove the marker!

Now to the Cone Scales
The best way to learn these is in my video.
But the Pattern calls for working in the front loops only and following the spiral stitches all the way up.
You will start with -
Chain 2 - Double Crochet in the next stitch - Chain 2 - Then slip stitch into the next stitch. This will give you your Cone Scale. Do this following the spiral all the way to the top where it stops. Review video for details.
