I got the new 2023 Talica 12II and 16II way back in May to test. I took these reels to Cabo San Lucas and Guatemala to fish for Stripe Marlin, Rooster fish, Mahi, and Sailfish. The prefect testing ground for the reels as all the fishing was live baiting and pitch baiting. There is a bunch of significant upgrades in the new model Talica's with increased drag, lighter in weight, smoother winding and better water proofing.
