An Inside Look at the International Medical Corps Gaza Field Hospital

“An Inside Look at the International Medical Corps Gaza Field Hospital,” a product of the CSIS Bipartisan Alliance for Global Health Security as part of the “Gaza: The Human Toll” series, features fresh footage from on-the-ground in Gaza at an International Medical Corps (IMC) field hospital. The IMC field hospital in Rafah provides emergency medical care to Palestinian civilians seriously injured in the war while delivering a range of other critical health services, including emergency obstetric and newborn care, nutrition support, mental health, and water, sanitation, and hygiene services. Its courageous staff struggle with acute shortages, daily insecurity, and the looming threat of an Israeli invasion of Rafah. Hear from health workers and patients as they describe the health and humanitarian conditions at the IMC field hospital in Rafah and partially functioning hospitals in Khan Yunis and Central Gaza.
