Rolling up the Birch trees in Snowman - We Love Katamari Reroll

Описание к видео Rolling up the Birch trees in Snowman - We Love Katamari Reroll

In katamari games, sometimes if you grab two big objects at once, or in this case roll up an object that adds a huge amount of size, right at the right diameter, you can scoot past the usual highest diameter a little. This can happen in ALAP4, and Underwater, and here in Snowman, and even in Campfire Large where I've never dared try it myself.

The method for growing big enough to roll up the Birch trees remains basically the same as in We Love Katamari and Katamari Forever and Touch My Katamari, but we may want to adjust the strategy just a little due to this game's hit detection when grabbing objects.

I watch for when I can first start easily grabbing skiers off the lift, which lets me know I'm getting near the right size to roll up the Mammoth. The skiers are probably a little harder to grab at first in this version. Once I grab skiers off the lift, I take about two laps around the stage, then grab most of the snow items (which I tried to leave alone until this point) and the Royal Nose off the chimney, then I take about two more laps and finally roll up the Mammoth. At this point I can't grow any bigger no matter what I roll up. Then I try and see if I can roll up the Birch trees. :)

This is not the only stage where you can roll up the Birch trees. It is easier in the bird & elephant stage. When you're about 12m in ALAP5 or AFAP5 or Eternal 3, go past the 12m barrier and find a snowy hill. There will be birch trees on it if the katamari is not too big.

Sorry about my fixation on dashing on or next to the igloo to try to reach the high ledge, lol. I never made it.
