Took at Bear Boat Tour with Subtidal Adventures in Ucluelet, B.C. on Vancouver Island in August. On a really rainy day, we observed six black bears: a sow, two 2 year old siblings, and from a distance, a mom and her two little cubs. At low tide, the bears come out of the forest to forage for crabs, worms and other critters under shells and rocks. We saw them climbing to eat salal berries too. three river otters make an appearance here too as they swim away from an oncoming bear. Thanks to Captain Brian for a great trip!
