Here I have a walk through of the John Deere 212 with a 43 blade. To install you'll need the front lift rod, front lift linkage which is the two brass pieces. Also you'll need 3 small clevis pins. The angled section of the swivel will be pointed down, the top hole will connect to the tractor itself, the middle hole attaches to the lift rod, the bottom hole attaches directly to the blade. The 2 pieces of lift linkage will attach the blade to the lift rod. You'll notice the lift rod has a section designed to slide, you'll want that at the front of the tractor, I recommend using washers to assist with the sliding. The lift rod is going to run along the left side of the oil pan, it should not rub. It will run up and over everything else and should lead right to the last attach point on the left side of the tractor.
