・Today, September 2nd, 2025, marks the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Foundation Day. With the outbreak of the August Revolution in 1945, a socialist revolution (a revolution by the working class), Vietnam became a Marxist country, and has undergone many historical events, including the Vietnam War, the Sino-Vietnamese War, the Doi Moi policy, and membership in ASEAN. It is a very auspicious day to commemorate this, the last socialist country in Southeast Asia, which has been nicknamed the "great power killer."
