When the PWCCA acronym shows up we immediately think about one of the most prolific producers in nowadays techno scene, but this phenomenon does not come for granted, he has been involved in electronic music since an early age, and he is not a newcomer whatsoever.

His first contact with vinyl decks was deep into last century's nineties and soon after he discovered electronic computer rhythms with a primitive Roland Tr 606 Drum Machine.

Soon he fell in love with the raw British sounds of Blueprint and Surface Records, Richard Polson, Oliver Ho, James Ruskin, the Birmingham gang … and that appeal to the groove has never left him since.

After a long musical trip as Dr. Cyanide decides to embrace this current PWCCA project we are now talking about, and this very long player means his definitive reaffirmation as one of the pillars of our label and as an extension to techno sound in general.

In this extended sonic excursion, PWCCA puts his sonic weapons at work with precise and pristine results:

Crispy textures, concrete bass drums, funky rhythm elements, rugged sequences, profound bass frequencies, all that always combined in super intelligent arrangements that seem cycled but embed a lot of soul inside.

Every single piece in this sonic puzzle has a reason to be there, nothing is superficial and every little detail has a meaning and a reason.

It can be anabolic and gymnastic, it can be mental or asymmetrical, it can be from outer space or it can be from below the earth’s surface.

One thing is clear, his approach to sound is unique and this collection is a superb sample of his gifted capabilities with the machines.

Probably one of the most accurate collections of techno tools out there.
