Proactive’s Tylah Tully gives a market wrap for November 28.

The ASX closed up 0.45% at 8,444.3 points, reflecting a five-day gain of 1.46%. It is currently 0.39% below its 52-week high.

Pro Medicus was the top performer of the day, surging 8.66% and adding $19 to close at $248.18 per share.

The company announced a $330 million, 10-year contract with Trinity Health, one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in the United States.

Trinity Health operates 93 hospitals and numerous other facilities across 26 states. The contract will see the implementation of Pro Medicus’ cloud-based Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform to create a unified diagnostic imaging system.

The Star Entertainment Group was the largest decliner, dropping 7.14% to $0.195 per share. At its annual general meeting, Peter Hodgson was appointed as a director and the company’s remuneration report narrowly passed with 56% support.

Sector-wise, six sectors closed higher. Healthcare was the strongest performer, rising 1.61% due to gains from Pro Medicus. Energy was the weakest sector, falling 0.32%.

Positive moves in the small cap sector were made by Artemis Resources, which jumped 25% to a daily high of $0.01, Cyclone Metals Ltd was as much as 13.04% higher to $0.026, European Lithium Ltd increased 10% to $0.033, Spenda was 10% higher at $0.011, Lunnon Metals Ltd climbed 9.09% to $0.24, Arovella Therapeutics Ltd reached $0.19, a 5.56% increase, Sovereign Metals Ltd was 5.2% higher to $0.81 and Anteris Technologies Ltd hit $9.90, a 4.21% increase on the previous close.
