Teaching is more than just lessons and textbooks, it’s about connection, patience, and the small moments that make it all worthwhile. As a Teach for India fellow, I’ve seen both the struggles and the joys that come with being in a classroom.

Some days are challenging, when nothing seems to work, when I wonder if I’m making a difference. But then there are moments that remind me why I do this. The excitement in a student’s voice when they finally understand something. The quiet 'thank yous.' The playful compliments when I wear a saree. The way they linger after class just to talk.

This journey has made me more patient, more compassionate, and more aware of the impact a teacher can have. These kids come from different, often difficult backgrounds, and I’m doing my bit to help them learn, grow, and believe in themselves.

This is my story of teaching - the challenges, the rewards, and everything in between. I hope it resonates with you. 💙
