Paterson, New Jersey - Wednesday, September 11, 2024, Mayor Andre Sayegh will lead a solemn gathering of city and state leaders, alongside esteemed community members, in commemorating the 23rd anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, during Paterson's annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony.

Like the nation, the Paterson community was deeply affected by the devastating events of 9/11, as many residents lost friends and family members in the attacks. This annual ceremony is a collective moment of reflection, remembrance, and unity. Kenneth Lira was the lone Patersonian who lost his life on 9-11. He was 28.
