Here is a Tour of the Monarch Mc Donnell Douglas DC-10-30 (G-DMCA) at Manchester Airport Visitor Park

The Monarch DC-10 is used for a Kids First Class Education Centre for Under 12's but I did managed to request a slot for 15 Minutes to record it for the channel since the BAE 146 Avro Tour did well last time.

Only the front half of the aircraft is stored at the park due to the tail plane section broke off when exporting the aircraft to the park 18 Years ago. Defiantly looking its age, but amazing to see how much modern cockpits / Glass Cockpits have come into most modern planes of these days and the illumination of a flight engineer.

The aircraft was built in Long Beach California 40 Years ago and now spends the rest of its life at the park with a fantastic team looking after her every day.
