'59 Topps Friday Cards 310-319: Luis Aparicio, Venezuela's Baseball Hero and Hall of Fame Shortstop

We built the iconic 1959 Topps baseball set, and in this series, we’re going through every card to talk about the players, teams and people who made up major league baseball in 1959. Today, we’ll cover cards 310 through 319 in the set. This include legendary Hall of Fame shortstop Luis Aparicio, the hero of Venezuelan baseball. We also discuss Dodgers ace Don Newcombe, the unique variations of Ralph Lumenti's card, slugger Joe Adcock and the narrative card "NL Hitting Kings" featuring Richie Ashburn and Willie Mays.
