This track is built around various plucked sounds, a saturated piano, and a variety of synth pad textures. Providing the foundation is a relaxed chillhop drum groove combined with syncopated synth bass sounds. One of my favorite elements in creating this song is the implementation of a couple different suspended cymbal sounds to use as risers and transitions. These are my own actual cymbals I recorded and honestly forgot I had these samples, so it was quite exciting to rediscover them for this and future songs!

The locale is the Proxy Falls waterfall trail in the Willamette National Forest amongst the Cascade Mountains of Oregon. This brief loop trail opens up with a short jaunt through unique lava rock before making its way into the forest toward the falls. The main falls is an incredible sight that I honestly had no idea of its 226 foot drop prior to my arrival and was quite thrilled to discover it was so perfectly illuminated on this day! The flowing mist clouds at the base of the falls added an especially majestic quality to this powerful yet peaceful natural display of flowing water.
