Hey! Welcome to HOWZA channel! In today's tutorial, we will teach you how to disable or enable automatic hyperlinks in Microsoft Word.
Open Microsoft Word or the Word file you need.
If you type a web address or an email in Word document and press Enter or a space bar on your keyboard, it will automatically transform it into a hyperlink. We will show you how to disable this feature.
Click on File at the top left corner of the window. Select Options from the left side list. New window will open. Select Proofing from the left side list. Click on AutoCorrect Options button. New window will open.
Go to AutoFormat as you type tab. Uncheck Internet and network paths with hyperlinks option. Click Ok.
If you want to enable automatic hyperlinks click on File at the top left corner of the window. Select Options from the left side list. New window will open. Select Proofing from the left side list. Click on AutoCorrect Options button. New window will open.
Go to AutoFormat as you type tab. Check Internet and network paths with hyperlinks option. Click Ok.
