It's that time of year when we need to prepare some ground for planting our winter onions and garlic. However, this year finding some ground that can be dug well enough for planting has been difficult. Normally I'd use a bed that has been cleared of potatoes but this year the ground was so dry when the potatoes were lifted that the ground isn't suitable for planting. We decided to clear away some spent peas and see if our little tiller would be able to cultivate the ground and give us somewhere to plant our winter onions and garlic.
