Описание к видео How Poly tanks are Made. Full Process

How Poly Tanks are Made: Full Process

Raw Material:

The primary material used for making poly tanks is polyethylene, a type of plastic that is strong, durable, and resistant to UV rays. This ensures that the tanks can withstand outdoor conditions and have a long lifespan.

Powdering the Raw Material:

The polyethylene comes in granules or powder form. It is often pulverized into a fine powder for easy processing in the next steps.

Rotational Molding:

Rotational molding (or roto-molding) is the most common technique used to produce poly tanks.

A pre-measured quantity of powdered polyethylene is placed inside a mold. The mold is hollow and shaped in the form of the tank.

Heating and Shaping:

The mold is placed inside an oven where it is rotated along two perpendicular axes. As the mold spins, the heat causes the polyethylene powder to melt and spread evenly across the inner surface of the mold, forming a consistent, thick layer of plastic.

Cooling:

After the polyethylene has coated the inside of the mold, the mold is removed from the oven and allowed to cool down slowly, often using cool air or water sprays. The rotation continues during cooling to ensure uniform thickness and prevent warping.

Demolding:

Once the plastic has hardened and cooled, the mold is opened, and the newly formed poly tank is carefully removed.

Finishing Touches:

The tank undergoes trimming to remove any excess plastic or rough edges.

Additional features such as inlets, outlets, and lids are installed at this stage. These fittings make the tank functional for water storage.

Quality Inspection:

Each tank is then inspected for leaks, thickness, and overall strength to ensure it meets quality standards.

Packaging and Distribution:

After passing quality checks, the tanks are cleaned and prepared for packaging. They are then sent for distribution to customers.

Key Benefits of Poly Tanks:

Durability: Resistant to rust, corrosion, and UV damage.

Lightweight: Easy to transport and install compared to metal tanks.

Cost-effective: Affordable yet highly durable storage solution.

Variety of Sizes: Poly tanks are available in different sizes and shapes to suit various needs.
