Meeting Solomon | Obey Me! Animation

❖SOME VIDEO TRIVIA✾
I knew I loved Solomon as soon as I met him in the game. I also knew I had a huge urge to make a bunch of projects about him, the most prominent one being the first time my MC meets him. For those that don’t know what Obey Me! Is, it’s a mobile otome or dating sim type of game, where you romance ‘demons’. It’s not an anime or manga and as far I know, just the format of a mobile app for now. I provided various links below for you to check it out yourself and maybe you will fall in love like I did!
Now, this project was actually started in early 2020, so if I had to say, the artwork in this video is slightly outdated-- meaning it doesn’t exactly reflect my current art. So this was basically just an experimental video overall.
And because it’s both pretty old and experimental, there are a lot of issues I did have while making this video-- I personally don’t even like this video at all lolol, but I can’t be too mad since I know I’ve improved from it ever since-- the backgrounds are very rushed and I made the mistake of referencing the color’s from the in-game color portraits, so it just looks so out of place. Another thing is the accuracy and consistency of the animation, because I was rushing to get this finished ASAP, I didn’t have time for the small details that pertain to the real Obey Me! Character designs-- whoever designed the RAD uniform I hate and love you. I actually think the RAD uniform was probably the hardest and most time-consuming thing when it came to this animation, I ended up not including a lot of the uniform’s prominent features like the badge, sleeve texture, and gold ingrainments into the sleeve’s patterns, because I definitely would've run out of time if I tried doing all that. I also did like 5 frames per scene cause of time constraint once again, and that also made it look extremely choppy. So I truly do apologize, Obey Me! Fans, I did try my best to make a decent video for everyone that loves the game as much as I do, and I promise to do better in the future! (Possibly making it up with a ‘meeting Simeon’ video in the future?
But I hope you liked this video regardless of the mistakes of inconsistencies, and as I mentioned before, the art style in the video doesn’t entirely reflect my art currently, and the opening and ending sequences have a better accuracy of what it looks like. I have much in store for the future and am very excited to have launched the start of this channel-- I hope you subscribe and stick around for my next projects and future endeavors, as I will love to see you again!
