ദുൽഖർ സൽമാന്റെ ഒരു കാർ കൂടി കണ്ടെത്തി കസ്റ്റംസ്. കൊച്ചിയിൽ വെണ്ണല ബന്ധുവിന്റെ ഫ്ലാറ്റിൽ നിന്നാണ് നിസാൻ പട്രോൾ വാഹനം
കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഹിമാചൽ സ്വദേശിയിൽ നിന്നാണ് ദുൽഖർ വാഹനം വാങ്ങിയതെന്നാണ് രേഖ. ഫസ്റ്റ് ഓണർ ഇന്ത്യൻ സൈന്യമാണെന്നും.
നേരത്തെ ദുൽഖറിന്റെ ലാൻഡ് റോവറും കസ്റ്റംസ് പിടിച്ചെടുത്തിരുന്നു. ഇതിന് എതിരെ ദുൽഖർ ഇന്നലെ ഹൈക്കോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ചിരുന്നു. വാഹനത്തിന് രേഖകളുണ്ടെന്നും വിട്ടുകിട്ടണമെന്നും ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടായിരുന്നു ഹർജി. ഹർജിയിൽ കസ്റ്റംസിന്‍റെ വിശദീകരണം തേടിയ കോടതി വിഷയം ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച പരിഗണിക്കും .ഇതിനിടെയാണ് വീണ്ടും ഒരു വാഹനം കൂടി കസ്റ്റംസ് കണ്ടെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിനിടെ കൊച്ചിയിൽ പിടിച്ചെടുത്ത ആഡംബര വാഹനത്തിന്റെ ഫസ്റ്റ് ഓണർ മാഹിൻ അൻസാരിയെ കസ്റ്റംസ് വിശദമായി ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തു. ഇടനിലക്കാരെ കുറിച്ചും നികുതി വെട്ടിപ്പിനെ കുറിച്ചും രേഖകൾ വ്യാജമായി നിർമിച്ചതിനെ കുറിച്ചും തെളിവുകൾ കിട്ടിയെന്നാണ് വിവരം. ഇരുന്നൂറിലധികം വാഹനങ്ങളാണ് നികുതി വെട്ടിച്ച് കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് കടത്തിയതെന്നാണ് കസ്റ്റംസ് പറയുന്നത്. നാൽപതിൽ താഴെ മാത്രം വാഹനങ്ങളാണ് കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത്. ബാക്കി വാഹനങ്ങൾ കണ്ടെത്താനായി മോട്ടോർ വാഹനവകുപ്പിന്റെയും പൊലീസിന്റെയും സഹായം തേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. Customs has located one more car belonging to Dulquer Salmaan. The Nissan Patrol vehicle was found at a relative's flat in Vennala, Kochi. Documents suggest that Dulquer bought the vehicle from a native of Himachal Pradesh, and that the first owner was the Indian Army.Customs had previously seized Dulquer's Land Rover as well. Yesterday, Dulquer approached the High Court against that seizure, filing a petition seeking the release of the vehicle and claiming that it has all the necessary documents. The court sought an explanation from Customs regarding the petition and will consider the matter on Tuesday. It is amidst this that Customs has located yet another vehicle.
Meanwhile, Customs thoroughly interrogated Mahin Ansari, the first owner of an earlier seized luxury vehicle in Kochi. Information suggests that evidence has been gathered regarding middlemen, tax evasion, and the creation of fake documents. Customs states that over 200 vehicles were smuggled into Kerala through tax evasion, and so far, only less than 40 vehicles have been found.
