Just look at this beauty with large rich blue flowers on a bushy plant - it has been the highlight of our garden (so far!) this year.
It has taken me 40 years to find a good one to grow, and because it is not frost hardy I am growing it in a pot so that I can transfer it to a greenhouse over winter.
In this video I share some tips on our success so far
planting into well drained soil based compost (John innes compost number 3) mixed with some excellent peat free compost
growing in a sunny spot here in the UK (south Wales)
careful watering (not too wet / not too dry, less water over winter)
feeding with slow release high potash fertilizer
