Using HOLD Training to Polish Up Delivery with Your Bird Dog 3 Day Progression with 12 Month Old ESS

All three days of Draven's HOLD lessons are included in this video to show progression through the hold training ‪@WhitewaterGundogs‬ You will want to be sure to watch to the end to see the entire process. Rob uses this training to help with some of the common issues often seen in working dogs. Some of these issues might include: repeatedly dropping the bird as the dog is coming in from a retrieve, dropping bird short of the handler, dropping the bird to shake after a water retrieve, and other similar issues where the dog might drop the bird prior to getting it into the hands of the handler. Both in competition and in hunting over your dog, HOLD is important to insure crippled birds are bagged rather then being released.
