Her Father - Surya Narayan Hota & Mother Mamta Mishra were always fascinated with her hobby of Researching on paranormal activities
She was born on 19th April, 2000 at Bhubaneswar
She had a boring, pampered childhood. Pampered bcoz she was the only child of her parents & the first ever girl in their lineage though now she has a younger brother, So she was & is treated like that literal Devi Swaroop thing she said & smiled. She was the favorite of everyone, starting from her cousins, relatives to her teachers. Her father got her into music when she was 3 years old. It was only an extracurricular activity for her at the beginning. But slowly it became the most important part of her life. Now, boring because she was that kid who loves to stay in her own world,she was always busy between music, studies and her ghost thing. She hated socializing with people, until her 10th standard. The set of friends, or say the gang she got in her 10th changed her life completely & has made her the happy puppy you all see now.
She was always very good at studies. Though she actually hate studying.
She has no particular inspiration for singing to say but the truth is that her father just got her into singing & like an obedient daughter, unknown to the fact that later on it would be a part of her soul she got into that. It was only when she was only 11 or 12 years old when she realized that she actually want to do music. Even for an earning.
She first went to Shantilata Barik to learn Odissi vocal when she was only 3 years old. & then went to Basanta Patra to learn Classical music when she was studying in 4th standard. At present she is staying in Kolkata & learning at Sangeet Research Academy, ITC from Brajeswar Mukherjee, under Pt. Ajay Chakraborty.
She is into Serious music practice from the last 7 years.
She was the finalist of Zee SaReGaMaPaLil Champs in 2011, also the first runners up of Dil Hai Hindustani on Star Plus in 2017 & presently working in AlkaYagniks team & assisting her teacher Brajeswar Mukherjee, in his Classical Music performances in India & abroad.
Her small world revolves around her father,mother, younger brother& her two pet dogs.
Her future planning is to stay in the field of Classical Music and make a good place for herself in that field & if she ever get a chance she would like to make fusion a part of mainstream career option .
