Hemet Police Department (CA) Mobile Command Center 7-26-24

Hemet Police Department takes delivery of their mobile command center. Built on a Freightliner M2 106 conventional cab, tandem rear axle truck chassis, GVWR with rear air ride suspension and air brakes. Features a custom all aluminum dry van body with a vehicle leveling system. To maximize the interior work rooms we added (4) in-house fabricated flat floor slide-outs. Our exclusive Intel-I-Touch™ vehicle automation systems are installed to ensure safety, and simplify the setup and shutdown of the vehicle on scene. Entires into the vehicle are by curbside entry door which includes LDV's custom pull-out stair cassette and rear entry door. The lavatory is accessed through the streetside entry door.

A complete emergency lights and siren package was added along with LED scene lighting. An exterior workstation features a 55" monitor. An exterior charging station provided for electronics and (2) of our Extreme Duty body storage compartments for gear are also added. The cab features a custom fabricated console which houses siren controls, a back-up monitor to help with parking maneuvers and more.

Inside the command center, the front conference and collaboration room features a conference camera, 65" multi-touch wall mounted monitor, (2) 43" and (2) 27" wall mounted monitors. The center table provides seating for four staff members. Flip down bench seating along with flip down work surfaces were also installed. The center work and collaboration room features (4) 24" and a 27" monitor. A removable table and four task chairs are also added. The rear work room features (9) 24" monitors and two task chairs. Soft close pocket doors between each room adds privacy when needed. Communication radios, wall mounted magnetic dry erase boards, printers and custom fabricated aluminum overhead cabinets for gear storage are installed throughout the command center.

A pressurized water supply system is included with one 30 gallon fresh water and one 35 gallon waste water tank. The HVAC system consists of five ducted low profile A/C units and a power roof ventilator. Electric power is supplied to the vehicle by a 25kW liquid-cooled diesel generator installed in a custom fabricated compartment.
