While making my Moana ranking, I realised that the movie version of the Dutch dubbing is basically completely not available anywhere. So, I decided to look it up, so I could share it.

At 0:47 I’m not quite convinced that Tala is singing “met hem strijd je” (“with it you fight”), because it doesn’t seem to make any sense, also considering that I don’t understand what the object is supposed to be, since the “hem” (which I translated as a generic “it”) is a male form, while every substantive around it could be referring to (like “voice”, “love”, or “zee”) is female, so…I’m confused, but that’s what the subtitles on the Blu-ray read.
