DALI Speakers at CEDIA 2023

Jason Zato, Brand Manager of DALI Loudspeakers, discussed the brand at CEDIA 2023, emphasizing its Danish origin and audiophile-grade quality. DALI, which stands for Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries, has a sound that falls between the "bass-heavy" North American and "high-emphasizing" European styles, aiming for a balanced blend of highs and lows. Among the products highlighted is their new Phantom IW Sub S100 subwoofer with a unique Constant Surface Surround, paired with the DSP-500 amplifier offering rich features and customization.

The company also unveiled their Epikore 11 speakers, designed as statement pieces for custom installers. These speakers feature innovative technologies like soft magnetic compound (SMC) magnets that reduce distortion, and natural wood fiber drivers that break up resonances. They integrate seamlessly with DALI's CI models and offer exceptional performance and versatility.

DALI is also branching into headphones with their upcoming IO-12 model. These headphones feature a 50-mm driver, as opposed to the standard 40-mm, and incorporate the same SMC materials to minimize distortion. The brand aims to offer a wide range of high-quality audio solutions, from in-wall subs to premium speakers and headphones, living up to their reputation for artisanal and high-performance products.
