Pádua é uma cidade na região de Veneto, no norte de Itália. É conhecida pelos frescos de Giotto na Capela Scrovegni, de 1303 a 1305, e pela enorme Basílica de Santo António, do século XIII. A basílica, com as suas cúpulas de estilo bizantino e notáveis obras de arte, contém o túmulo do santo com o mesmo nome. No centro histórico de Pádua existem ruas com arcadas e cafés elegantes frequentados por estudantes da Universidade de Pádua, inaugurada em 1222. ― Google
