How To Set & Maintain A Safe Following Distance When Driving - The 3 Second Rule Saves Lives

It's important to set and maintain a safe following distance when you're driving on the highway. Following too close to other vehicles can result in accidents and injuries. If a dangerous driving situation occurs that requires you to have to suddenly slam on the brakes or make an evasive maneuver, you need enough distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you to allow you to react and get out of the situation. In this video, I show you how to apply the 3 Second Rule to set and maintain a safe following distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. It's an easy thing to learn to do, and when applied to your everyday driving, it can increase your safety on the road and maybe even prevent an accident or save a life.
