How to Go Live to Facebook Groups from your Switchboard Cloud Account

Learn how to live stream to Facebook Groups by creating a Facebook Live event and adding it to your Switchboard account via the RTMP Method.

👉🏽 Log into both your Switchboard and Facebook Accounts

Access the Facebook Group and click the events tab.

Click the Create Event Button.

Provide details for the event, select Facebook live as the event location.
Click Create Event.

Set up Live video.

Grab the Facebook Stream URL and Stream Key.
Click the RTMP button at the bottom of the destination group.

And add to Switchboard Group.

Start Sending video from your live stream encoder to Switchboard.

You’ll see changes on the Switchboard workflow pane within a few seconds, indicating you’re successfully connected.

✅ Video will display on the preview window.
✅ Status will display "receiving video" with a green dot.

Click the Green Go Live button next to the destination we've just added to the group.

🙌 Return to Facebook and verify that video is coming through.
