The time has come to continue my Let's Play's of the other Witcher games. Having started with The Witcher 3, I was often asked "Would you ever consider LPing the original two games?". At first, I never thought I would, but as time went by, I starting to think it would be a good idea. And seeing that Far Cry 2 has been put on hold for my LP, I decided to replace it. What better, than the first Witcher game?

Now, it's VERY important to note that I was introduced to the series through the third game. So going back to the original title may be strange at times. Know that I will most certainly not understand some gameplay mechanics, screw things up, and most importantly, it'll take me a while to get use to the combat system and UI. Feel free to post any tips you have in the comments, to refresh my brain.

So, why have did I make my final decision to LP The Witcher? Simple, really. I absolutely love, no, adore The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. And even though I will replay that game again multiple times to experience things I never did on my first playthrough, I still want more Witcher. Playing the first title, and hopefully soon after, the second, allows me to learn more about the lore, characters, setting, major events, etc. Meaning, my knowledge will increase, and I'll be more attached to characters. That way events in future titles are far more meaningful.

No idea how long this Let's Play will be. I've heard from people on my friends list anywhere from 27 hours to roughly 40 hours in a single playthrough. So that's what I'll use as an estimate. But I by no means am going to rush it.
