This is a speedrun of the restricted The Essential advanced difficulty category of Afterimage, a 2023 metroidvania developed by indie studio Aurogon Shanghai, and published by Modus Games (now Maximum Entertainment).

This run pushed the existing routing to its limits, with no deaths and very few mistakes, held back only by the boat bug time loss. Further time save is definitely possible, but primarily it would be from optimizing the route some more.
