Solo Grandmaster Nightfall "Corrupted" with Celestial Nighthawk & Sunshot - Solar Hunter - Destiny 2

Solo completion of Grandmaster Nightfall The Corrupted with Celestial Nighthawk and Sunshot on Solar Hunter - Solo GM - Solo Nightfall - Gilded Conqueror - Celestial Nighthawk - Sunshot - Solar Hunter - Season of the Wish - Destiny 2 Lightfall.

Corrupted is back yet again, and considering Celestial Nighthawk was buffed, it is the best time to get the full advantage of the Golden Gun. It works really well in this GM deleting Champions and phasing the Boss. I am not sure how the damage thresholds work on the Boss now. I could not skip the first 1/4 phase but I managed to skip the 50% damage threshold resulting in skipping one "phase". This way you have to go straight to the boss in the Ascendant Plane as the islands become "Turn back" zone in the end of the NF as soon as you get to the Boss circle. However Sunshot makes a short work of the Thralls.

As for the other weapons, I have a Kinetic Pulse Rifle (Chattering Bone) with Kinetic Tremors to stun Overload Champions and have a longer range weapon (I think Kinetic Tremors is one of the best perks in the game). Lastly, I have a Solar LFR (Cataclysmic) to deal with bigger targets.

You can skip a champion in the entrance area and still get platinum. That's what I was aiming for but I simply forgot that you have to actually kill the very first champion regardless.. so that's why I got gold. To get platinum just kill the champion that spawns in front of you at the start of the NF and add extra 30sec to the run. I personally don't really care about loot so that's why I didn't want to rerun it yesterday. I will make sure it is platinum in the future runs!

I will revisit this GM with other builds later on.
