Looking back, the timing of this power outage was simply perfect... This candlelit journal session is the exact reset that my soul was needing. If you try it out for yourself, let me know what you think!

Also... my camera died halfway through the video, so I switched to my phone since I couldn't charge my camera battery with the power outage lol. I also desperately needed to take a shower when I filmed this... but I also couldn't shower because of— drumroll— the power outage. Gotta do what ya gotta do😅

Currently as I upload this video (almost a month later!), I feel a lot of the weight of life on my shoulders. You know when everything just feels so heavy? That's how this past week has been for me. Just like the passing storm that I mentioned in the video, I know that this feeling is just a passing season. But uploading this video definitely feels like a very gentle reminder that it's so important to slow down and take care of yourself amidst life's stressors.
