Komagane City is situated in the Ina Valley, nestled between the Japanese Central Alps and the Japanese Southern Alps.

Kozenji is an ancient temple that was founded in 860. We arrived a bit early for blooming this time, but there are a lot of weeping cherry trees in the precinct. At Kozenji, there is a folklore about a brave dog that killed a beast terrorizing the locals and you can find the grave of the dog named "Hayataro".
