IMPORTANT: Please read these instructions before beginning. Check to ensure your firearm is unloaded of any ammunition source and the chamber is empty.

Start off by visually and physically inspecting your firearm’s receiver for burs around the screw holes and remove if necessary. Remove all oil and grease from the screw holes, the base screws, and around the contact surfaces on the receiver with a mild cleaner like rubbing alcohol.

Place the Bergara scope mount base(s) on the receiver. Check for proper fit and alignment of the base(s). The Bergara scope base(s) is designed to work with both 6-48 screws as well as 8-40 screws. All Bergara B-14 Rifles will use the 6-48 screws and the Premier Series Rifles will use the 8-40 screws.

Using a T-15 wrench (supplied with Bergara base(s), loosely install the supplied Torx 15 screws. If base(s) fit properly, firmly tighten screws.

***Bergara recommends 25 in-lbs torque on each base screw.

***Bergara recommends the use of a REMOVABLE thread locking compound for best results.

If using another manufacturers Rem700 stile receiver, determine which screw size will work for that specific receiver.

This installation procedure will also work for any Bergara scope rail we sell.
