Описание к видео The HBCU Immersion in GEOINT: 2024

The HBCU Immersion in GEOINT is an intensive summer research experience that engages
students from the nation's Historically Black Colleges and Universities with academic and industry experts in geospatial science to tackle a set of societal grand challenges using geospatial intelligence (GEOINT).
Guided by Harris-Stowe State University (HSSU), in partnership with T-Rex Innovation
Center, industry partners and support from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency
(NGA), this summer immersion program will cultivate a talented and diverse pipeline of
students trained in GEOINT/GIS tools, applied to a real-world problem set, with emphasis on
global challenges.
This year, the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) hosted the 375th Air Mobility Wing Elevate Innovation Team from Scott Airforce Base, which presented challenges and opportunities for HBCU students to get involved in robotics and technologies that support national security.
