TV Appearance! Why So Much Fungi This Year? (ITV Tyne Tees News)
I had a great opportunity to talk all things fungi and foraging with ITV Tyne Tees News!

The main focus of the short interview was answering the question: Why is there so much fungi around this year? It was brilliant to share my thoughts and explain the factors behind this fantastic fungi season, but as happens with TV, they had to cut some of the footage.

Crucial advice I gave for beginners that didn't make the final cut:

Don't rely on apps for identification, they can be misleading.

Get a good ID book and learn how to do spore prints.

Don't rush the identification process, take your time!
