Israel video tour with David Hyman, professional tour guide. Join us on this unique night stroll of Jerusalem. The end of August is a great time to visit Jerusalem, the days are still very warm but a fresh breeze arrives in the afternoon, the Jerusalem stone walls reflect with the famous golden glow and everyone goes out for a stroll. Our tour starts by walking along Jaffa Road and to Zion square where we enjoyed the street musicians. Then we headed to Machne Yehudah food market, we made some last-minute shopping and sat down for dinner in one of the food stands. The Market at night changes into one enormous, loud, and happy street party. All the bars open and the narrow alleys are full of music and dance.
We ended our tour at the Kotel, the western wall. The month of Elul is the month leading up to Rosh Hashana, and many Israelis gather at the Kotel for Slichot prayers.
