After defeating all the bosses in NG1, I wanted to step up to the challenge of all the final bosses in NG2. The major difference in mechanics is after each phase in NG2 your health does not get restored, which makes defeating all 3 in a row even more difficult.

Phase 1: The flames are easier to avoid than NG1's Jaquio, and the orange clones help reduce the duration of the fight by making it easier to hit him. The whole fight is staying near the wall, avoiding flames, and slashing when he comes near. It just takes a little practice and concentration.

Phase 2: You need to get the rhythms down to win in this phase (well, if you have enough health, you can just stay next to him and zerg him). I find it easiest to stay within range of the two closest uhmmm "acid dropping thingies". You need to get learn the timings of those two droppings, as well as him spewing out the fireball. You can jump over the fireball, or walk right next to him to avoid it. Practice, practice!

Phase 3: This fight usually takes forever if you don't have the orange clones. You can only slash his face after ducking under the upper claw attack and leaping over his beady fireballs. Then you have to quickly move back to avoid his next claw attack. Rinse and repeat.

EDIT: Fraps did not capture the clones very well, making some parts look weird. For instance, in phase 3, after leaping over the beaded fireballs, one of the clones gets in perfect spot to slash away at the head. But all you see is me slashing off the screen! Damnit Fraps!
