Thank you to Elecaenta for letting me review this awesome panel!

Although I am honest with the products I review and test, this is a paid promotion. I purchased this solar panel myself and Elecaenta reimbursed me in exchange for a review.

In my experience reviewing and analyzing high-powered foldable solar panels like the Elecaenta, I have to say that the price of the panel for what you get is a great value.

Several solar panels of this size are either too expensive or underperform, yet this panel legitimately exceeded my expectations.

Brief Overview

My experience with the Elecanta 120W foldable solar panel was excellent due to several aspects of the panel that worked effectively, including:
- The long, 10-foot cable let me charge my portable power station with ease.
- Its kickstand was easy to use and folded nicely
- The entire panel folds into a compact frame
- Its rubber carrying handle was sturdy and made it simple to carry
- The 10+ connectors that came with the panel were a nice addition in case I needed to use them (I just needed the Anderson connection)
- The USB-C PD port and USB-A QC3.0 port are excellent for fast device charging
- The metal grommets and four carabiner clips made it easy to hang (although zip ties would be preferable for me)
- The accessory bag attached to the back of the panel was big enough to store all cables as well as my phone for charging

Solar Panel Output

The solar panel output in good sunlight is going to be about 75-80% of the 120W total output of the panel. An 80% efficiency is just about the best you can get from any solar panel of any size.

In partly cloudy skies, the highest measurement I got from the panel into my Rockpals power station was 84 watts. Dividing this by 120 watts equals a 70% efficiency.

This 70% in itself is, in my opinion, either average or slightly above average for a foldable solar panel of this size.

In full sunlight with the panel angled correctly (perpendicular) to the sun, the highest consistent output was 95-96 watts. This is equal to about 81% efficiency, which is spectacular.

Foldability

The panel (when unfolded) is about 5.5 feet long, 1.7 feet wide, and one inch thick. When folded, it measures 1.7 ft x 1.2 ft x 2.1 in. There are four panels that close down to the size of one when folded.

Kickstand/Legs

There are two legs on the panel that form a kickstand to easily angle the panel to the sun. They are made of a solid material that can withstand the 11.24-pound weight of the panel.

USB Ports

There are two USB ports in addition to the main connection cable. They are the following types:
- USB-C PD (45W max)
- USB-A QC 3.0 (Quick Charge - 24W max)

I personally have never seen a portable solar panel with USB connections as powerful as the ones provided in the Elecaenta panel.

There is also a red LED indicator to show if the ports are in use. Once a USB cord is connected to the solar panel, this indicator will light up. It is easily visible in the rear of the panel even in the sun.

Included Connection Types

The following are the connectors that are included with the solar panel:
- 8 mm DC adapter (7.9*5.5*0.8 mm)
- 7.4*5.0*0.6 mm
- 6.3*3.0 mm
- 6.0*4.2*1.4 mm
- 5.5*2.5 mm
- 5.5*2.1 mm
- 5.5*1.7 mm
- 4.8*1.7 mm
- 4.0*1.7 mm
- 3.5*1.35 mm
- DC5521-Anderson/Aviation plug

Other Important Features

The main cable coming from the solar panel is 3 meters (just under 10 feet) long. This is important because it allows you to set up the panel in a wider area than a smaller cable would allow.

There are four metal grommets on each corner of the panel. Each grommet is accompanied by a carabiner to connect to a tent, fence, or any other area where you can hang them up.

Water-resistant panel - The Elecaenta panel has an IPX5 rating. This means that it can withstand light rain. If using in the rain, make sure the ports and your devices are covered.

It comes with a rubber handle for easy carriage. On the back of the panel is an accessory bag to store cables and devices.
