Our next 2023 Fellow is Prof Zaiping Guo (University of Adelaide). Working as a materials scientist, she pioneered potassium-ion batteries and is focused on developing the next generation of rechargeable batteries.

While she pushes the boundaries of new battery technology, from fast charging to longer lifespans, Prof Guo hopes being elected a Fellow of the Academy will inspire other young women in science to follow in her footsteps and push other boundaries.

We welcome Prof Guo to the Academy.
