Christian Authority - The Knights of St John in Scotland

The Knights of St John first came to Scotland under the reign of the puppet King David I. The Knights first set up a church/preceptory in Torphichen, West Lothian.

Surrounding the Church were a number of standing stones (some ancient and some not) which made up the refuge zone.

Within this refuge circle, a man would be free from the laws of the land and offered a fair trial but God aka the Knights of St John!

I believe that the Knights of St John came to assert Christian authority on the people, to undermine scots law and support the Royals.

Yes the Royals, the knights were working on behalf of the bloodline!
