You might find it overwhelming to figure out what suppressor mounts you need when you first get into suppressors. eSilencers is here to help you! Using a suppressor mount system, you can quickly move the suppressor between firearms. The three most common mounting designs for suppressors are direct thread, quick detach, and integral.

Suppressors that are threaded directly onto barrels are known as direct thread mounts. Many silencers use this type of suppressor mount, including those designed for rimfire and centerfire pistols. Multiple firearms can use the same direct thread suppressor. A quick detach mount is a faster attachment method than a direct thread mount. As opposed to attaching directly to the firearm, most quick-detach suppressors are coupled to a semipermanent barrel adapter such as a muzzle brake or a flash hider. On the other hand, integral suppressors are built as a part of a fixed barrel. Integral suppressors are not removable or interchangeable. There are many suppressor mounts such as the Q Cherry Bomb, Energetic Armament, Dead Air Key-Mo, and SilencerCo ASR Mount. But It's hard to overestimate the value of simplicity, and the Q Cherry Bomb/Plan B setup offers it in spades. This mount is light, low-profile, and has no moving parts. Hand-tightening your silencer without locks or springs is a confidence-inspiring experience, a direct thread with the benefits of a QD muzzle brake. External threads enable the suppressors to be attached directly. In particular, Q Cherry Bomb works with Q's Thunder Chicken and Trash Panda suppressors.

A more conventional, one-handed QD suppressor mount system like the Dead Air Key-Mo offers a solid lockup. It is possible to pin and weld flash hiders and muzzle brakes if your project requires it. The silencer is mounted by lining up a grove on the Key-Mo to a notch on the muzzle device. Two cranks deliver solid lockup as soon as it's seated, and the silencer is locked in place. It can be installed and removed with one hand without the need for latches or locking rings. The SilencerCo ASR Mount is similar to quick attach mounts but not as popular as the Key-Mo, and Plan B. What started as a replacement mount for SilencerCo products has grown into much more than that. Dead Air's Key-Mo adapter initially allowed SilencerCo suppressor owners to use Dead Air's suppressor mounts. Since introducing the Key-Mo adapter, Omega or Bravo thread patterns have been incorporated into many different suppressors. Key-Mo adapters are no longer limited to SilencerCo ASR mount systems, and you can use them with suppressors from CGS, Energetic Armament, YHM, and Dead Air's Nomad series. Almost all pistol-caliber carbines and rifles can be used with the Dead Air Key-Mo adapter. Want your VOX to work with your ThunderBeast brakes and flash hiders? Then it's time to look into the TBAC mounting system from Energetic Armament! The muzzle device is American-made Grade 5 titanium and is compatible with ThunderBeast muzzle devices.
