5 Things I Would Do As a Beginner Carnivore | What I Wish I Knew Before Starting My Journey

"Thinking about trying the carnivore diet? This all-meat way of eating can have amazing benefits, but it's important to ease into it correctly. In this video, I share my top 5 suggestions for beginners based on my own experience:

1. Slowly Transition: Don't go straight from a standard diet to 100% carnivore overnight. Slowly remove plant foods from your meals over 3-6 weeks to help your body adjust.

2. Add Mineral Salt: On a carnivore diet, you may need extra electrolytes like sodium, potassium and magnesium. I recommend adding mineral salt or salt substitutes to your meats.

3. Eat Fat for Constipation: You may experience constipation at first. Combat this by eating fattier cuts of meat and adding tallow, lard or butter to your meals.

4. Eat More Than You Think: Meat is incredibly satiating, but you may need to eat more calories than expected, especially if active. Pay attention to hunger signals.

5. Find a Farmer's Market: Source high-quality, nutrient-dense meat from your local farmer's market or co-op. Build a relationship with the farmers!

Whether you want to try carnivore for mental clarity or autoimmune issues, these 5 tips will hopefully help you succeed. Let me know your top questions in the comments!"
