Parental Accountability Court Kickoff

The Western Judicial Circuit Superior Court recently launched its newest Accountability Court, the Parental Accountability Court (PAC), at a kickoff event on Thursday, August 9. The PAC has already started working with participants.

The program is a joint effort of the Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Division of Child Support Services and Superior Court judges to offer an alternative to incarceration and help chronic non-payers of child support make regular payments.

The program utilizes community resources to address barriers that keep parents from meeting their support obligations.
