I'm taking a look at the EVGA XR1 Lite Capture Card to see how well it records 1080p locally and on an external PC for things like Distro Delves episodes.

People ask me how I record the booting and installing of Linux distro's on actual hardware and this is how. External capture devices like these are essential for recording high quality video of another system's video out since recording on the system itself isn't always possible.
